We're creating a newsletter!

Every so often we have some news. Some BIG nice shiny news. And we'd like you to be the first to hear about it! So, we'll be sending out newsletters, direct to your email inbox, every so often. It'll have up-to-date info on all Olobob forest activities, like new movies on our social media and YouTube channels, news about books, events and workshops, competitions and giveaways, new episodes, stories and TV stuff, plus some behind-the-scenes and other crazy Olobob happenings!!

We are delighted to announce that Monday 19th August sees the beginning of brand new episodes on CBeebies in the UK.

With a new time slot of 9.20am we hope you can tune in and watch live, especially over the Summer holiday weeks. There are stories about rubbish (and recycling), flying to the moon, mini golf, and even a funny episode about stand up comedy!

We are thrilled at the arrival of this adorable Bobble Figurine! It's one of a set of five that's being delivered to Olobob Top HQ today, having been 3D printed and hand painted. Doesn't he look amazing! He's a prototype for further art toys that we'd like to make some day. We know there are a lot of you who'd love to have him in your home, so we'll keep working on that!

We have NEW BOOKS out!

Working closely with Bloomsbury we've made a new board book, and an activity book. The board book introduces us to Big Fish, and the concepts of opposites and proportions - big/small, far/near. Help the Olobobs look out for small fish, big rocks, and an even BIGGER boat! Find your book on Amazon and all other top retailers!

We've been having lots of fun creating a second series of Olobob Top!

26 brand new episodes will begin on CBeebies in the UK from 22nd April 2019, at 10:40am every weekday. The stories include adventures underwater, flying in the sky, and all around the forest. We get to meet Witchy Woo, Catapilla, Pancake Petey, and lots more. Plus we see the return of Grannybob! And a new favourite - Queen Forest, who wants to rule over the Olobobs and all their friends!

Co-creator and author-illustrator Leigh Hodgkinson will be travelling around the UK next month for some unique events based on the world of Olobob Top! Thanks to our publishers, Bloomsbury, she will be popping up in Bath, Guildford and Cheltenham, hosting workshops all about getting creative and shapes, colours and patterns. There may even be some games of Olobobingo!

Now that series 1 has played out on CBeebies in the UK, we thought we would make a catchy musical montage of all the best Olobob songs! Looking back, it's amazing to hear all of them together. There's quite a range, but they're all loads of fun, and guaranteed to get your little ones jumping about.

We're thrilled to announce the start of production of Season 2 of Olobob Top!!

All the team here are excited to bring a further 26 stories to the small screen, hopefully to start on CBeebies in late Spring 2019. Yes, we know, it's a long way away, but heck these things take time! We've already written 14 new stories, so things are going well, and they all have some amazing, funny and inspiring bits. It's a shame not to be able to share them right away with all you Olobob Top fans, but they'll work even better with moving pictures!

This year we've been out and about visiting book festivals and family festivals running Olobob Top workshops and events for children. It's been a blast, and there's more on the horizon!

Co-creator and Art Director Leigh Hodgkinson has been spotted at Elderflower Fields Festival, Greenwich Book Festival, Wayword in Chester, Shrewsbury, and Barnes.

We're thrilled to announce the publication of two beautiful Olobob Top books, all thanks to Bloomsbury!
'Let's Visit the Olobobs' is a board book for your littlest ones, whilst 'Make your own Olobob home' is an activity book packed with stickers and pages of different homes to energise your child's creativity and imagination.

Olobob Top was created by wife-and-husband team Leigh Hodgkinson and Steve Smith, but it also features the voices of their children - E (now 8) and S (now 5). In an intriguing article below, Steve talks about the ups and downs of working with your nearest and dearest.

Whilst recording a zillion different voices for his multitudinous roles in Olobob Top, Stephen Mangan took time to tell us his thoughts about the show. We edited the choicest bits (the bits where he said nice things) together, and are in the process of making that in to a 3-part movie for your enjoyment. In Part 1 he gives a nice top-line summary of what Olobob Top is about, and the good news is it's already up on our YouTube channel!

Co-creators of Olobob Top, wife-and-husband team Leigh Hodgkinson and Steve Smith, will be at HiFest 2017, the illustration festival hosted by the lovely seaside town of Hastings, in southern England.
